A grand antique Victorian guard chain from the late 19th Century consisting of 15ct gold cable links leading to a claw clasp at the end which would have traditionally been adorned with a pocket watch or lorgnette.
It measures 58 inches in length and has a good weight to it. It can be worn as one long chain or looped twice around the neck if preferred.
